LIFE SCIENCE PROGRAMS

The Tennessee Aquarium offers Life Science Programs to home school students each year. One day a month (from September through April) students visit the Aquarium for a two-hour class. The classes are based on national and state science standards and include hands-on experiments and inquiry. Classes are divided into grades (4-6 and 7-10) and the subject matter changes each year. This year’s subject is Biodiversity. Students will learn about environmental diversity by studying different animal groups and their habitats.
